From spring AAA hockey to camps to more, here at Manitoba Hockey Development (MHD) our goal is to aid in the development of all ages of hockey players in Manitoba. We want to provide opportunites for as many players as possible to continue their development after the winter season ends.
Our spring hockey program is growing each year and we are bringing together many of the top players at each group.
The Manitoba Team X-treme is Manitoba’s premiere hockey team. Try-outs for the X-treme teams are invite only. They compete in the Super Elite division of tournaments they enter. Our X-treme teams are provincial teams with the very best players at their age group coming together to compete against the very best teams in North America.
The Manitoba Lightning & Bolts are teams that compete in the Elite or AAA & at times the Super Elite divisions. Both teams support the X-treme team and players can work towards a try-out with them.
Our Tornadoes teams will compete in AAA and Open tournaments while our Cyclones & Thunder teams will be in OPEN divisions in tournaments. Players on these 3 teams are all working hard for an opportunity to move up to play for the Lightning or Bolts.
